Post-graduate schools of specialization in architectural and landscape heritage are third level university institutions created to train high profile professionals specialised in the understanding, conservation, restoration, management and promotion of cultural, architectural and landscape heritage, approached in its broadest meaning. These schools are open to those with a degree in architecture, engineering, cultural heritage, art history, conservation and archaeology interested in enriching their education and developing and updating their professional skills.

Courses offered by these schools end with the issuance of a university-level diploma as a Specialist in Architectural and Landscape Heritage. This title is often requested in competitions for positions with the Superintendencies and public institutions, and in tender calls for projects in the fields of restoration of built and landscape heritage.

There are currently 8 post-graduate schools in Italy.

Statement from EAAE for Ukraine

The Council of the European Association for Architectural Education is shocked and dismayed by the blatant violation of the sovereignity of Ukraine by Russia and the resulting threat against the freedom, safety and health of the citizens of Ukraine and its academic community. The Russian attack is in obvious disregard of major international treaties and agreements and an immediate threat to all efforts for global peace.

Risoluzione SIRA sulla Riforma dei Saperi

Con grande piacere pubblichiamo il testo della risoluzione dedicata alla Riforma dei Saperi, esito del contributo e del confronto dei Soci in occasione dell’Assemblea Ordinaria Annuale tenutasi lo scorso venerdì 11 febbraio 2022 a Firenze.

L’art. 14, comma 2, del DL 6 novembre 2021 n. 152 ha indicato che, tra le misure per l’Università inserite nel PNRR, “si provvede alla razionalizzazione e all’aggiornamento dei settori scientifico-disciplinari, nell’ambito dei quali sono raggruppati gli insegnamenti, anche al fine di assicurare la loro rispondenza agli elementi di flessibilità e di interdisciplinarietà di cui al comma 1”. Non è scritto che la razionalizzazione e l’aggiornamento degli SSD significhi il passaggio dai settori ai macrosettori, ma da anni della riforma della classificazione in settori si parla, ponendo il tema della numerosità delle discipline, che si ritiene eccessiva, e denunciando le difficoltà di funzionamento di settori troppo poco numerosi. Il Consiglio Direttivo SIRA apre a delle proposte.
